Bro. Matt Thornton
Pastor
Bro. Matt Thornton has served as pastor of NBBC since April of 2013. Previously, he served as Associate Pastor for over four years, helping the church in multiple capacities. Bro. Matt is a hometown product having graduated from Bryant High School in 2000. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Arkansas in 2004. When Bro. Matt surrendered to preach in 2007, he began attending the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock. He completed his Master’s degree in Bible Languages in 2011 and earned his Doctorate in Bible Languages in 2020. Along with pastoring NBBC, Bro. Matt is also a professor at the Missionary Baptist Seminary where his classes include Greek and Apologetics. Bro. Matt was saved and scripturally immersed when he was seven years old. He and his wife, Allison, were married in 2003.  They are thankful and blessed to have two wonderful children, Landon and Avery.


Bro. Doug Burch
Associate Pastor
Bro. Doug Burch graduated from Bryant High School in 1987 and surrendered to the ministry in 1989.  He was ordained by Southwest Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock in 1992 and graduated from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Bible Languages.

Bro. Doug accepted the call as Associate Pastor at North Bryant in July of 2020.  He brings nearly twenty years of pastoral experience to his position, having served as pastor of three churches in Arkansas.  He and his wife, Angela, and their sons, Brandon and Jordan, have been faithful members at North Bryant since 2012.


Bro. Connor Harris
Associate Pastor
Bro. Connor Harris graduated with the class of 2012 from Russellville Hight School and proceeded to attend Arkansas Tech University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2016.  After believing in Christ as his Savior and being baptized in 2013, Bro. Connor followed the Lord's call to the ministry in 2014.  Choosing to first complete his degree program at ATU, he then moved to Little Rock, AR to attend the Missionary Baptist Seminary.  In May 2020, he earned his Master's degree in Bible Languages.

During his time at the seminary, Bro. Connor served at North Bryant Baptist Church as an assistant to the pastor.  In July 2020, he accepted the call as Associate Pastor and was ordained by North Bryant in November 2020.
